Randall S. Joselit, CPA, Founding Principal and President
Randy Joselit has been working in public accounting in Phoenix since receiving a BS in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1983. Randy has passed the Series 7 licensing exam for the sales of stocks, bonds and mutual funds, as well as the exams for life, disability and health insurance.
His areas of expertise are income and estate tax planning, management advisory services, analysis of financial statements and business strategies. Randy has clients in fields including real estate development, construction, engineering, healthcare, legal and other professional services.
Randy is a past President of the North Phoenix Kiwanis Club; in 2008 he was the recipient of the George F. Hixson Fellowship Award, one of the Kiwanis International Foundation’s highest honors. He is also president of the Phoenix City Le Tip Chapter.
Don Schaper, Tax Manager
Don Schaper has an associate’s degree in accounting from the Academy of Accountancy and has practiced with a number of CPA firms – including a large international company – for over 25 years. He has been a member of the Joselit professional staff for more than 25 years, serving individuals and small business clients. Don has a strong working knowledge of accounting tax software and administrative systems, and is an invaluable resource for the firm and its clients. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
Louise Till, Office Manager
Louise Till provides Joselit clients with full-charge bookkeeping and payroll services and serves as our office manager, providing superior leadership and assistance to our administrative staff. Louise has spent most of her professional career working for CPA firms, and has been a valuable asset to our firm for more than 25 years.
Katie Arnold, Professional Staff
Katie Arnold is a 2009 graduate of Arizona State University with a B.S. degree in finance. While in school, Katie worked at the firm as an intern. The firm provided Katie with tuition funding to earn her finance degree and subsequently to earn a B.S. in accounting as well. Katie successfully transitioned from an intern position into a valuable member of our professional staff. Katie has been with our firm for over 15 years.
Lowell Lawson, Tax Preparer
Lowell Lawson joined Joselit in 2004, and is responsible for the seasonal preparation of individual tax returns. Lowell is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and received his MA in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. He worked in banking and for Motorola before founding Sun Laundries, Inc., a chain of laundromats and cleaners. After 23 years, he sold Sun Laundries and then served as a high school math teacher for 11 years before his retirement from teaching.
Loren Varden, Administrative Office Assistant
Loren has worked with our firm on a seasonal basis for the past couple of years. She has done an excellent job helping our firm through the busiest times of the year.
Ellen Rex, CPA
Ellen rex is an Arizona Certified Public Accountant and has worked in public accounting for over 30 years. Ellen has been providing tax and accounting services to our most complex clients on a per diem basis for close to 10 years.
Per Diem CPA Support
Our firm has developed relationships with top level CPAs and administrative personnel to provide busy season assistance. These individuals are also available throughout the year for special projects and to help meet extension deadlines.
